Tallest Skyscrapers

***

The Burj Dubai or Dubai Tower, at 2,000 feet in height it is one of the world's tallest completed skyscrapers to date, give or take. You would need to stack 14 and a half Burj Dubai's base to tip to reach the top of Everest.

At 1,400 feet tall, the Taipei 101, a personal favourite for no other reason than the design was based on a 2,500 year cycle rather than the usual few hundred years. The Taipei 101, located in Xinyi District, Taipei, Taiwan, was built to last.

At 1,200 feet, per Wikipedia, "the Petronas Towers (also known as the Petronas Twin Towers or KLCC) are skyscrapers and twin towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. They were the tallest buildings in the world from 1998 to 2004 until surpassed by Taipei 101, but remain the tallest twin buildings in the world."
